Responsibilities:
Purpose and Summary of position:
Ensure continuous, safe operation of Distributed Control System (DCS).
Responsible for the maintenance and configuration of DCS to provide high availability of all control system components.
Coordinates DCS troubleshooting activities
Monitors system and control system components
Performs routine system maintenance and modifications (e.g. back-ups, file maintenance, system performance tuning, system software upgrades) to minimize downtime and loss of information
Configures basic control scheme and logic
Participates in MOC changes and alarm management activities. Contributes by identifying ways to leverage control system to maximize unit safety and productivity
Develop, design and implement system improvements. Develop and maintain a system recovery plan
Support other systems as needed (e.g. data historian, yield accounting, BLAN, PCN
Support SIS systems, including SIS functional checkouts, PLC programming and maintenance, SIS bypasses, etc.
Qualifications:
Required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
3 to 5 years related experience
HS education or equivalent plus two years of technical training in a related field
Strong ability to multi-task and work in a self-directed manner
Hands on experience working with DCS hardware and software, PLC's and data historians
Good troubleshooting ability -
Prior hands-on experience working with multiple disciplines (e.g. Operations, Technical, and Maintenance)
Basic understanding of chemical and utility processes

Invensys I/A DCS-Foxboro
Triconex SIS
Allen Bradley PLC5, SLC505, Control Logix
OSI PI or IP21 Data Historian
Graphics Development
Working knowledge of networks and Microsoft systems
Working knowledge of instruments and analyzers

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
