Sales Representative / Sales Manager (Pasadena, TX)

Part-time or full-time position for individuals with sales background preferably in healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry, who are seeking a managerial mix in their job functions; looking to give back to the community in a position that is dynamic, offers professional growth and great financial compensation.

Job
Summary:
Provides direction and leadership; responsible for managing the daily operations and sales activities within the organization. Is responsible for the development, education, implementation, operational and sales performance. Ensures quality outcomes in a cost-effective manner. Participates in the development and implementation of agency philosophy, policies, marketing, networking and business plans. Responsible for ensuring achievement of revenue objectives for an assigned territory. Will generate sales through cold calling, attending conferences, networking with key influence groups and relationship building with key referral sources (both medical and non-medical environments). Responsible for reporting results to the owner, discuss successes and opportunities, and revisit marketing/networking/business plan.

Qualifications:
BS/BA in Marketing/Business/Healthcare or knowledge equivalent to that which would normally be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program
Three to five years of measured success and progressively more responsible or expansive sales experience preferable in the healthcare / pharmaceutical industry
Demonstrated sales record
Supervisory experience, where individuals were directly reporting to you

Essential Functions:
Develops, implements, and evaluates programs and initiatives in order to meet volume, financial, quality, and service standards
Collaborate with Owner to make recommendations and adjustments when appropriate to achieve objectives
Establishes and maintains written policies governing agency operations, to include:
a. Services offered
b. Admission and discharge procedures
c. Supervision and plans of care
d. Emergency care
e. Service records
f. Personnel qualifications
h. Program evaluations
i. Coordination of referrals to and from other community resources
Implements and monitors continuous quality improvement programs
Achieve new revenue objectives for assigned territory with the primary goal of bringing in new business to increase overall market share. Target accounts include, but are not limited to: hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, banks, funeral homes, etc
Performs all phases of sales activities for assigned territory, including cold calls, follow up calls, analysis of client needs, presentations of services, service existing customer accounts and follow-up as necessary
Establishes a networking plan and actively uses it as a working tool, which is revisited as requested
Tracks all activity in a CRM system
Participates in all scheduled regular meetings
Will monitor all competitive activity and trends within the territory

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
