Together, let us keep the heart beating one creative solution at a time! The warehouse coordinator is part of the asset, reliability, and maintenance team that oversees the processes, spending, and development of the department.
This team is responsible for driving performance improvement and growth in the maintenance organization.
As the warehouse coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the site by overseeing the flow of materials in and out of the site and ensuring that the warehouse is reliable and functional for our internal customers.
During your hours as a Warehouse Coordinator, you will Lead a team of nested warehouse contractors to ensure the warehouse has a successful materials management process for all movement in and out of the warehouse.
Maintain up to date training requirements to function as site DOT coordinator and sign hazardous waste manifests.
Develop and maintain key warehouse metrics.
Use your background in SAP and material master maintenance to manage site inventory including cycle count, kitting, spare parts, critical spares, MRP (material requirements planning), and shipping/receiving.
Use continuous improvement mindset to work with site customers to improve warehouse performance and dependability.
Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain audit readiness for the warehouse.
Oversee site materials management budget.
Budget and maintain stock value.
Optimize stock levels and ensure availability for clients.
Collaborate with the engineering department to verify technical specifications.
Conduct market research for high-quality materials.
Plan and secure raw materials for production.
Monitor inventory, review orders, and coordinate with sales, logistics, and shipping departments.
Provide updates on work progress and potential production issues to senior management.
Coordinate repairs and logistics alongside engineering to ensure spare parts with cost saving.
If you Education/Experience High school diploma 5
years of experience in a warehouse environment.
Proficient in SAP functionality Strong understanding of warehouse processes and workflow Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and work with people throughout the organization.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft software suite Self-motivated and strong problem-solving capabilities Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of MRP processes for warehouse stores Vendor research and fair market price Technical skills and collaborate with Engineering Microsoft Office, Excel, SAP Organization/Time management skills Then Click below to Belong@BASF!
