Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch people and vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs Relay orders, messages, and information to or from work crews, supervisors, accounting and field personnel using computers, telephones and software Confer with customers or supervisors to address questions, problems, or requests for service or equipment Provide alternatives to customer to promote a win-win situation when original requests are not possible Advise appropriate parties regarding traffic problems such as weather, congestion, and hazards Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work performed, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch related information for dispatch and accounting Ensure a clean and orderly work area at the end of each shift Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
